A NEW PAGE! Yay!!!! This page has been setting in my computer unfinished for quite a while. I tried something new with the coloring, to speed up that step, but in the end, it did not save that much time, and I do not like it that much… but the story is underway again. I am starting on the next page as soon as this blog is done.

On another note, the piece for Dallas Art News is posted check out Michael’s article:  Webcomics Imitating Art to see it along with other Webcomics’ contributions.

Click the button at the top of this page and tell me what you think!

My wonderful wife and I welcomed our son into the world at 4:25 pm yesterday. Everett James (named for our fathers) landed on Mother Earth weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. and is 18″ long. He is beautiful- but then, I am a little biased.

DWEX was a lot of fun. Met a lot of people, passed out cards with the website on it. Got to meet Samantha Wikan and her husband, I will post a link to her website later ( I am posting from my iPhone). Got to talk to Michael Moreno- he said he has an idea to pitch to Image that he would like help on- be interesting to see what it is. He writes, so maybe he could help with another idea I had. It was fun, hope it happens again next year. I will post links to webcomics whose artists I spoke with later.

I will be at the Dallas Webcomics Expo,in Plano, Texas, tomorrow 11/14/2009. I will not be selling anything, but I will have my sketch pad handy. I am at table #22. This is the first time I have been to a convention as an exhibitor, so it should be interesting. I hope you can come and meet me, I would like to know who my readers are!  For info about the expo visit the site.

I know I said I would get the next page up last weekend, but a home improvement project ended up consuming all of my time. On the up side, I now have a new fireplace! We will see how this weekend goes…

Hooray! I finally took Scott Kurtz’s advice- Quazar:451 now has it’s own website! It is still in its rough stages- I am trying to figure out how to work ComicPress and make the website look like I want it to. (if any of you know how to configure ComicPress, drop me a line at quazar451@gmail.com- or use the mail from the comicgenesis site- I could use some tips) There will be another page up by this weekend. If you haven’t looked at it for a while I encourage you to re-read the entire thing. Welcome to the Comic!
